Acids stain you;
And drugs cause cramp.
Guns aren't lawful;
Nooses give;
Gas smells awful;
You might as well live."

Quoth The Clock "Beep"

I'm not sure why, but I'm terrible about keeping time.

There are three clocks of mine in this room: One by my bed, One on my computer, and my pocket-watch. And all three of them are off, and by off I mean like off by several mintues or more.

My watch beeped, letting me know that it was 10:00AM, except that it did so 10 minutes early, since it's a full 10 minutes fast.

My computer disagreed with the watch, because 10:00AM was a good 20 minutes ago. It's running a full half-hour fast.

Meanwhile, my alarm-clock was already past 10:00AM by a full 5 minutes. It's running a peaceful (and deliberate) 15 minutes fast.

Which means, it was 10:00AM 10 minutes after the watch said so, 30 after my computer said so, and 15 after my alarm clock.

And the worst part is that I know this. I know it like the back of my hand. I glance at my computer and immediately subtract the extra time, and I do the same thing with my watch and my clock. Why it's easier for me to do that than sychronize? I have no idea.

But even better, rather than acknowleging fixing this problem, I instead write a post about it and then go play some silly online game on miniclip.com.

Cause I rock, that's why

I think a lot.

Current Song: So Nice - Babel Gilberto
Current Mood: jazzin'

Sometimes, in the middle of the day, I find myself thinking about where my life would be if I had made a different dicision somewhere along the line. Sometimes, it's a regret situation, with me wondering if I could've handled a situation better. Ok, usually it's that... but sometimes, it's just curiousity.

Today, getting off trax, I saw what I would've been had I gone harder into the goth scene. There was a guy who looked like me, was about my age, had long black hair, and a trench-coat. In essence, he was what I was in 11th grade, had I not taken a turn into individualism (t-shirts and sports jackets...yeah). He had all black, with the typical rock-band pins and that I'll-fuck-you-up-for-a-quarter look about him that I could easily see myself attempting, and he jaywalked.

If I had only kept to the scene, become more goth instead of less, that's exactly where I'd've ended up.

boy howdy, am I glad that was just a phase. I mean, whew... heh.

I wrote about half of a comedy skit today during my lunch break. The skit is "PBS gone bad", and I won't say anything more. It's not that I'm trying to be mysterious or any crap like that, I'm just not comfortable throwing half-finished ideas out onto the net. I like my ideas finished, damnit.

I've got some plans for other skits, but I'll have to keep you posted on those.

Oh, and just for the record, I didn't get any of the things on my list of things to do by January 1st done.

anyways, I'm really tired cause I'm on day 3 of little sleep. So I'm gonna go crash.

g'night all,
